As I watch you from across the place

I see a different person

I see that you're enjoying yourself

And I wonder if you'd be better off

Without me in your life

I wonder if you'll ever miss me

Ever notice that I'm not around

I keep watching

I keep wondering

Whether or not I should leave you

Leave you and go on without you

i wrote this not thinking that i would be a "break-up poem". but when i let my friend read it, he told me that it sounded like i wanted to break up with someone. so now i guess it's the "break-up poem".  written 05-15-2003
