Words you express like a night breeze

Delicate and smooth,

Like your satin kisses

Cooling my entire body as you whisper softly to me

Soft yet so sharp, like wind cutting through tall grass

Clever as a tiger and you slink through the jungles of my soul

Your body so close to mine

In a split seconds time

You consume me entirely

Making my body melt

Baking my soul in the desert sun

My heart and soul melting into you

But you, my night breeze,

Cool me every time,

Making me whole again

Save me every time,

Stop me dead where I stand

Make my heart shudder in my chest

When you whisper those words in my ear

Your three little words take me

I am gone, completely taken

and willingly so

I feel so far away, so lost

Away from this planet,

Buried in your plush words

Standing on a distant shore

Waves crashing seem so far away

I hear myself respond...
