So you tell her

with tears in your eyes

so you tell him

its hard not to lie

but you got to face up

take of the make up

and let the truth shine



its so hard to be strong

but life keeps moving on

so grab the piece, face the pain

there nothing else to explain

so pick you head up, and don’t cry

just nod your head and say good bye



the memories now are whispers to me

of dreams of another life that use to be

how could something we believed in become a lie

and now you say you regret you and I





now the simple words repeat in my head

of that time we intertwined in my bed



let not live in the future

lets not live in the past

lets just live in the moment

and make this moment last
