The Asylum

Here; people's faces are alight with ideas,

Things you could never have imagined in a million years,

But because you don't understand,

because it's not the norm.

You like to keep them under lock and key,

Brilliant ideas, shunned away from the world,

Because brilliant minds say it's the right place for these people.

These dreamers.

These sinners.

Here; you can fly,

You can breathe under water,

Talk to the animals.

You can invent robots that walk and talk,

You can see what you dream.

How can that hurt?

How can that harm?

They don't understand,

The mind of the abnormal man.
