Lesson Learned
My lesson learned
As i lay upon my bed
my body quaking
From the energy spent
i wanted something from m’Lord
And i told Him so
When i thought nothing done
i told Him again
And yet still no answer received
i became sullen and resentful
my mood and actions cross
i strained against His touch
A lesson m’Lord taught me
Just because an answer
Was not readily given
Does not mean one is not coming.
