My Own Righteous Questions

As I walk along my plutonian shores,

I spot a man in a yellow hat.

"Why do you wear that yellow hat?"

I ask, rather than pondering his presence on my beautiful beach.

"My hat signifies my ability to withdraw colorful emotion from life."

Unsatisfied, I continue my walk in peace.

As I travel throughout my harmonious commonwealth,

I spy a young boy dangling his legs out over a balcony.

"Why do you do that?  You know that's dangerous,"

I chastise, rather than asking how he got all the way up there.

"My life is entirely lacking in liveliness and adventure."

Disappointed, I grow tired of walking and return to my house.

On the doorstep of my ambiguous mansion,

I see a woman in my way on the phone with her friend.

"Why are you on the phone?"

I ask, rather than why she was outside of my residence.

"I'm rekindling a flame that I thought to be put out forever."

Disillusioned, I step through my door,

oblivious to the life outside my threshold.
