One Monotony Over Another

One monotony over another...

I lost them all, I lost you...

I lost all of what was left

Of me

To become you

But now I‘m neither...

Was it what you always expected?

Now that you’ve taken it for granted

This is what you get

Life you now have met

You’ve met your destiny..."

Two “monotonies” fuse an excuse

I gathered them both

I gathered all of my troops

To kill

The remnants of memory

Lingering in my conscience.
