False Prophets
False prophets have appeared and prophesied,
Contrary to events and late results,-
False prophesy reared heads on many a site,
But was chased back now into cyber vaults ,
He prophesied, - and blame ran wild amuck,
Dark menaces of doom and gloom and woe,-
He prophesied, - the crafty zealot crook,
Like the false prophets did of long ago..
False prophets are not treated very well,
In several chapters of the Holy Book,
There are some passages that clearly tell
Just what to do with fanatic or crook.
He prophesied, - but false was his report,
Presumptuous, - no line to God he had,
But arrogance, - confounded by the Lord
Appeared for readers on the Internet.
Its preferable to be deaf and dumb
than give to prophesies like this an ear
And be found trusting and naive a lamb
Before the crooks that suddenly appear.
Thus when Election nears and you have doubt
On prayer solely dear friends rely,
And not in prophets that are shouting loud,
Nor trickster fanatics that prophesy.
It is of shyster prophesy I speak
That rang out loud on this Election Day,
The Prophet may be English , French or Greek
A Shyster he's! - I have no more to say.
