PASSION

Create the space for magic to arise,

And to the present moment hold on tight,

Lo! in the present moment power lies,

It is a mine of gold, but use it right!.

Invest into this sluggish world with zest,

With passion and great fervency pursue

Your deep convictions aim, invest! invest!,

Be passionate in everything you do.

It takes no artists - any gardener,

Can show inspired creativity,-

Devoted workmen can most anything repair.

And show inventive ingenuity.

It takes not much, and never is too late,

To energize, empower and inspire,

A zestful chef can easily create

The meal that others can’t,- but much desire.

Throw Beldame inhibition overboard

Be not a priggish sluggish soul,  but try

To dance the Monti Czardas for the Lord,

While gypsy fiddles through  the prairies sigh.

Its passion’s drive men cannot but admire,

Enthusiasm charms the rainiest days,

Aloof wet blankets rouse distress- or ire,

And klutzy actors bring the stage disgrace.

With passion tell your tales or Anecdote,

For passion’s ardor cannot but transport!

It captivates, -  speak ye of men or God,-

For noble passion’s well spring is the Lord.

Who'd want to be an  angel if ther Lord

Takes so much pleasure in the human race?,

"He takes delight in it" - we have His word!

And amongst men he dwelled and walked their ways.

Oh! He despised not feeling weak and low,

Knew well the heart ache of the anguished soul,

It took Him thirty years to learn and grow,

But he pursued  determined his high goal.

Let passion's drive spur Pilgrims on the Road,

Determined,- not like drifters without aim,

And passionately sing high hymns to God

That fervently His love and grace proclaim.
