Brave Innocence
He said he was eighteen
And smiled down from the screen,
A smile so sweet and bright
He said he would love to fight
And surely he was unafraid
To go to war- the young man said.
His face was dimpled, sweet and round
His map and gear for Kuwait bound
“Al Qaeda is gearing up again
And I am ready!” - this young man
So brave and so sincere
Lord spare him to know fear!
His pack stood ready by his side
Soon he’ll be going to Kuwait;
“Al Qaeda foes they are in league,
With Hussein Saddam the old pig,
The linkage is too obvious
They’r joint like Baalam and his Ass!”.
Pray God that divine Providence
Protect the life and innocence
That he will not know fear
This gutsy soldier dear!
