There is a silent killer in our homes

Invited and welcome

Poisoning us everyday

While we eat and drink so unaware

Diabetes and obesity on the rise

But the side effects of aspartame and saccharin

Are all conspiracy theories and false accusations?

Never mind the firsthand accounts

Because the FDA and government never lies

GMO’s in everything we eat

They aren’t harming us in the least

Well tell that to the farmers that dies

Every 30 minutes another suicide

Banned in Saudi

Brazil

New Zealand and Hungary

But in the USA

Monsanto is on the rise

No you aren’t allowed to choose

No labels

No warnings

Let’s forget about these so called studies

Sterility and infant mortality is not a problem

Are we ok with simply being test subjects?

While our government and FDA approves

We blindly eat ourselves to death?

And lash out at those that oppose this game?

This slow suicide

Killing ourselves from the inside

What does it take to research and compare

To ask what is so bad about these seeds

Hungary burnt it to the ground

Yet I’m supposed to believe

Five million farmers are insane

For suing Monsanto for 7 billion US greens?

Are we so stupid and naïve

We trust blindly

Hope the FDA sees more than its greed

Open your eyes and see this horror

Let your anger build and boil

Then reach out and act

Teach those that are ignorant

Take back your bodies and your health

And then maybe our future isn’t doomed

To watch as we die

From heart attack, diabetes, cancer and stroke

Because we were too stupid to ask the simple question

What is going on and why?
