Love is not always easy, it’s not simple,
love is a sacrifice, it takes work to keep,
love accepts flaws, helps rid the bad ones,
blind to looks, unworried of the superficial,
a supporter, the one whose there when no one else is,
through the thick, through the thin, through it all,
love is there to catch us when we far, to pick us up
when depression sets in, to chance away the nightmares,
love doesn’t care about the bank account amount,
love is beyond self, centered on the other,
worth the wait, a treasure no gold can compare,
love, love is beautiful, conditionless,
love comes with trails, it’s never easy, but so worth it,
love is true family, sometimes blood, others not,
love is beyond imaginations, defies the laws of class,
confounds the wise, astounds the common man,
love reaches deep, and spreads fast.
Love simplicity given life, riches are not required,
love is more than passion, more than a word,
it consumes us all, neighbors, friends, and family,
its that emotion you feel for the child that kisses you,
for the teacher that helps you, for the dog that lives with you,
for the friend that stands by you, for the parents that held you.
Love reaches you from beyond the grave,
love is all around, easily found, hard to loss,
it takes work, from both parties in a marriage, a friendship, a family
Love is deep, almost indefinable, elusive in its beauty, love is powerful.
Love it’s all these things, and yet so much more, it’s beautiful.
Though relationships fail, it’s still there awaiting you.
