When were all these changes made

Why did I remain the same

Where are you

When spring was here I had no fear

When summer came it was the same

Then it changed

All the leaves had fallen down

Then things got oh so turned around

You left me

I have got a shining light  

In the night it shines so bright

When you can't see

But in the day it goes away

My whole world returns to grey

But I can dream of all the sweet love we once knew

Before a changing world swept up you

And you went away

Every day you stay away,

I'll write a little poem to say that I love you

You can run and you can hide

You can caste my love aside

There's one thing you can't do

The past has happened that's a fact

You can't take my memories back

I still love you

Yesterday's a dream away

And in my dreams I hope and pray,

that you love me

Where ever you go,

my love goes too

But do the things you need to do

I'll wait for you

Till you return I'll hope and pray

And everyday you stay away,

I'll write a little poem to say,

that I love you

You can run and you can hide,

just please don't caste my love aside

My heart burns for you

And I have got this shining light

If you come home it will shine so bright that you will see,

all the love I have to give,

and all the life we have to live

And you'll love me

Till you do I'll dream and pray

And write these little poems that say that I love you

And yesterday's a dream away

And in my dreams I hear you say,

that you love me

I've watched the seasons come and go

Where ever you are I hope you know

I still love you

Again the leaves of fall are rushing down

My heart still beats a hollow sound

And my love just spills out to the ground

Till you return

Now my life seems full of winter days

And there all colored in shades of grey

And still I dream of all the sweet love we once knew

Before a changing world swept up you and you went away

And maybe in the spring this year

My hopes and dreams you'll finally hear

And you'll return

You'll set me free of this memory

And things will be as they should be

And you'll love me

You'll take the love I have to give

Love me again and let me live

And I'll love you
