Scramble on at Conception

The sperms run faster for the egg,
To catch up with it,
And fertilise it,
Just to be born to this kind of life;
Had I but known,
I should not have been so hasty,
'cause blessed are my friends,
With whom on that moment we ran,
To get into the egg first,
Who that day failed to succeed
When I counted myself greatest,
Just to be born to this kind of life!
Hope I meet you one day
To recount my ordeal to you,
And you will never consider yourselves
                      unlucky,
For having failed that day when I made it,
Though I have come to believe
That whichever one else would have
                        made it
I was still to be the one in that body
'cause I am spirit and not the body,
And what's the fuss about it all?
I should rather have been as nothing
Neither flesh nor spirit,nor air molecule,
Nor anything called this or that!
For such,the afflictions of existence
                      have taught me...
