The Park Pixies.

The Park Pixies.

The Pixies have taken over our local park,

They did it I think just to have a very good lark.

On the swings they had great fun,

Enjoyed themselves making faces at the sun.

Pixies are mischievous this we all know,

They did their best to steal the show.

Picking daisies they decorated a tree,

Made mud pies and threw them at me.

Pixies you know are very shy of men,

They only show themselves now and then.

In Pixie Land one confided in me,

They eat green herrings for their tea.

At the end of the park near the lake,

Some Pixies were riding on an old snake.

They emptied the rubbish from out of the bins,

Played hide and seek in the empty tins.

So do not be surprised if you go to the Park,

If the Pixies near you have had one big lark.
