Cockney Slang.

Folder:
Poetry by Bern.

Going to London.

Learn some Cockney speech.

Did I hear you say, going for a walk.

The cockney is going for a ball of chalk.

You are going upstairs.

Make it better the old apple and pears.

You would like a pint of beer.

I would ask for some of the old pig’s ear.

Want to use the toilet; better I want a tomtit.

Talking about your husband or the old man

A true Cockney says my old pot and pan.

Again it is not your Wife.

It is your old trouble and strife

Many more are in use, it is called Cockney Rhyming Slang When you visit have a pint of the old pig’s ear for me, Ta very much. Bern
