You have a key

The key to my heart

A key I didn't give you

But somehow you have it

In your hands, it's been placed

Maybe it was there all along

You've unlocked a door

One that was sealed so tight

A door to my heart

In which you hold the key

There, gently, in the palm of your hand

I trust you, I care

You have done something

A miracle, imanginable, impossible

You released the love inside me

The love that has been hidden

In the depths of my sould

In a heart afraid of pain

Afraid of breaking

The heat of the love

Warms my cold body

Color fills my face

And a smile slips across, never leaves

Butterflies gather in my stomach

You drop the key, my key, in a jar

A jar entitled "Love"

I am now forever yours

I will care for you, cherish you

I will never leave

You are the one and only

My angel, my lover, my life

I love you
