I can’t remember the day

When the sky went black

Or that first tear fell

Did I know the storm coming?

Seems so long ago

Little by little it slipped away

Now not a day goes by without falling apart

But time keeps moving with every breath

I don’t know how, each feels the same

I use to rely on myself to find morning.

Now I need a host to survive

To remind me I’m alive and I can feel

It’s never enough and it never will be

Because young girls weren’t meant to live that way

Cry myself to sleep and say tomorrow won’t be the same

But it will be, just like yesterday

Say a prayer to make it 

Another day in the storm
