Imagine a place where nightmares come to life,
Where your dreams are memories taken by strife.
This is the person your don't want to be,
Just trust me on this you will see.
You never know what's real and what's not,
You just hope it's not something that should be fought.
This is where your ego comes out,
When the bad side of you starts to sprout.
You have battles with yourself mentally,
Hoping something bad doesn't happen accidentally.
You'll talk to yourself like you are your best friend,
As if your trying to make an amend.
It doesn't sound to pleasant that's what I've been saying,
It's not something you want to start playing.
You live in a world of darkness and fear,
Not wanting anything to come near.
I wish that all this was not true,
But you can ask me it's what a friend went through.
So before you look and judge right away,
Make sure you know why they're not okay.
Most can't help it and deal with it all day,
They are the ones who have the right away.
So be kind and caring to all those around,
You'll feel better when you flip over their frown.
