Words

The words that you say
All, thrown out
Dumb, fat, worthless, gay
When is it acceptable to shout?!

You are more than the scars you inflict to drown out the comments
You don't need to mangle your wrist, your thigh, your hip
The comment on your minds strength just misrepresents
You could be smart as a whip
And it wouldn't unequip them from implicating it.

Weight.
People will make fat jokes, when you haven't eaten in days
A number, controlling a life
Large or not, the numerical value is you, in any way.
Others speech should not make that change.

When did we start using a sexual orientation as an insult?
LGBT people are just that. Beautiful people.
So don't be the reason anyone cries, be the reason they exult

EVERYONE IS WORTH IT
So don't think your words don't mean a damn thing
You are lovely, you mean so much
So please, I'm begging you, don't fuel the demon
That resides in all of us.
