He's a maddened visage of madness

An unplanned crack in the facade

The kinda answer you'd question

Because the truth seems so odd

And if we don't lock him away

Oh baby, he'll surely end us all

He may be the doubtless reflection

Yes, he's the life behind blue eyes

But we now have our secret secret

That the life that looks at us is a lie

But if we don't lock him away

His the lips that sing assurances

Only his ears showed for the show

The pied piper that is playing alone

We're trying to lock him away

But he's about to end us all

In between the bullets and bombs

Past the smoke lay the knowing gaze

The fog of war now starts receding

We've lost the losing battle today

We fought hard to lock him away

Another pill has ended us all

And as he stares into the mirror, safe

He knows that he is and now I will be

He can't hear their screams anymore

From their deafening threat we're free

I have managed to lock them away
