Just A Name

Some of the greatest things in the world

come without names.

Well, we name them ourselves, but that's

not the point.

I mean, what's in a name?

A name is nothing but a word. A word that

we are known by or perhaps for.

Sometimes it's the name that takes us places.

But sometimes, it's the name that brings us down.

What's your name? What's its meaning?

Nobody really knows for sure.

We're judged by our names.

We're placed in God's great book by our names.

But no matter how important the name, aren't

we still just us?

Aren't we still the person we'd be with any

other name?

What would happen if it changed? Would we?

I don't know. Do you?

Author's Notes/Comments:

I was going through books of names and seeing how exotic some were. Each name has it's own meaning and origin from which it came. But, a name, in my opinion, shouldn't define who we are.
