I Want To Be Me

Older Works I want to love being me,
I want to learn to love and be free.
I have a dream.
It is to be like everyone else.
Right now all I feel is discomfort everywhere.
Yet what I want to feel may never be there.
All I want is to become part of the crowd,
To take part in what everyone is talking about.
I'd love to be able to be loved for myself,
But I don't think that is ever going to happen.
Love is a strong word, if used in the right way.
I don't see how anyone can say they mean it that way.
But for now all I want is some love to share.
With one special person I know is out there.
I want to love being me.
