I knew you wouldn't care

for years you told me I'm worthless

and that you didn't care



Dad I got drunk today

It made me feel real good

I forgot about your hate for me

Yes, those few moments felt good



Dad I'm going to college

I knew you wouldn't care

I cried a single tear today

and left without a care



Dad I've smoked

and Dad I've Drank
