“For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind

and to melt into the sun?”

On Death, an excerpt from “The Prophet” by Kahlil Gibran.

Day blends softly

into night.

apricot sunset

touches enchanted

gulf shores.

Warm southern breeze,

verdant seaside paths;

nature sings a new and

passionate song

and earth meets sea.

Simplicity, elegant grace,

cool mint memory,

feeling you, and

the beginning of a

night-long wind.
