Winds of Yesterday

Folder:
Death

You left your message in the wind,
It whispered "good-bye" and "I love you"
Death took you from me one cold December night,
By surprise it left me here.
Yet I know you're near when Jack Frost nips at my nose,
And I feel you in the cold winter breeze.
For you are just like the wind-
I can't see you-
I can't touch you-
I can't hold you,
But I'll always know you're there-
I feel you in my heart like the wind in my hair.
