Demon-2006



Do you ever seem to look behind?

Think there’s maybe something there to find

Feel like someone’s watching you?

You run but it follows you

No matter where you try to hide,

The darkness is always by your side

Do you ever think there’s a demon behind?

You cant run cause its in your mind

Have you locked yourself inside your room?

Have you ever started to assume

The demon can’t find you locked in there

Where you feel no one will care

But you feel its cool breath down your neck

And it takes you just a sec

To turn around, confront you

Until you notice the demons you

So you stay awake all night

Full of fear and full of fright

Because you don’t know what to do

Because the demons only you

Only your deepest fear

All that anger, all those tears

Your emotions are what the demon feeds on

Without emotions, the demons gone

And for our demons to be gone,

All of us have to move on
