If You Were My Enemy

If you were my enemy
The one that stresses me
The one that makes my nights long and restless
If you were my enemy
The one that depresses me
The one that saturates my stomach with anxiety
If you were my enemy
The one that makes me sick
The one that fuels my anger and infuriates me
If my efforts aren’t enough
To fulfill your blood seeking heart
Your need to control and cause pain
Slashing me everyday, feeling my fire dissipate
My inner spirit slowly withers
If I never again look in your eyes
My voice doesn’t acknowledge your presence
Turn my head away when your walking by
Because I’m ready to die, peacefully knowing I was right
The dictatorship of your injustice will drown you alive
I know how die and get out alive

PS If you were my enemy
I wished you've died.
