Everyone is searching for the right one
For that “one” which lifts you up from the ground
Gives you a sense of purpose in life
That, which would keep you up at night

At the age of 17 I met you
I was static when I found you  
You were my savior from despair
Damn! you really gave me hopeful care

It was nothing, nothing but a fantasy

In return I gave up everything for you
Two years of my life I reserved for you
I was committed to the end of time
Nevertheless, everything changed in a blink of my eye

Until a stormy day comes and you find out the worse
You’ve been backstabbed by the one you loved
You handed out your heart in a silver platter
Only to watch it been stepped on

I felt so alive, I could even fly
Until you took a shot at my wings
From there I was dead inside
You never even gave me a reason, you lied

You were my God 

And there’s love, love that kills
Love that hurts
So strong that it never heals
