Her entry turns all heads
I catch her eye
Stammering across the floor
My reach finds her.

Offered dance, bow and curtsy
My hand finds her bodice
And hers alight upon my shoulder.
Symphonic!

Her love, a slow waltz
First dance, I lead.
With passion and excitement
Our eyes interlocking.

Her gaze shies away
I feel her trembling.
Never previous, a man to love her
She melts inside.

He falls deeply
Others desire her.
She disappears to the crowd
He dreams of her touch.

Longing for her modesty
She knows and tries to resist him
But, she desires him to have her
They fall together.
