she held him
kissed away his tears
and tried her best to hide the pain
tip toeing around him
the man who once help her so gently
now help her down in rage
yet she still loved him
hoping beyond hope he would chnage
through all these years
she protected him
bore him a son
and dreamed of the man she fell in love with
a man who turned up missing 2 years ago
and looking into his eyes she searched
for some glimmer of hope- the light that once there
the memory of what once was
was worse that the present
worse that the fear he put in her heart
through all these years
he treated her like property
and tied her down to the bed as he took what was his
and yet she loved him
and still held him when he cried
