Hatred and Lies

I am expecting a sunny morning

But darl clouds loomed overhead.

Will it be another lonely day, or

Will there be a rainbow, I can't tell.

When playmates become friends,

Life is filled with trials and triumphs.

Things change.

Deeds are done, words are spoken,

Then they could be mistaken for, misunderstood.

Promises and dreams which are woven

Turn to lies, sprucing up hatred.

Dust comes in contact with soil.

And as the rain falls,

Tears and sweat are washed off.
