If We're Not

Her name sounds like a fragrant flower

Yet she's not determined to live with it

I don't know why but she feels glum

When someone calls her by tht term.

Time fleets and I am still alone

Nobody seems to glance at my side

There she goes and looks at me

I smile while she waves her hane.

She asked me if I care

Yes indeed was my answer

But then came the point I dreaded most

I was frozen with terror and thrilled later.

If only it os righteous I thought it over

if only I am not made this way

For how, shall we seek joys

In our own ways, separated.

Yes, it's you and me against the world

That could be the case if life went on

However our earth stopped turning

And I know we'll live better this way.
