Reconsider

So you’ve decided to give up the fight
To permanently snuff your mortal light
To end the suffering, the agony, the pain
To give up your struggle that’s been in vain

But think, if you will, for those left behind
Your loved ones who will come for you only to find
Something ghastly from a horror show
That will stay with them where ever they go

It may be an easier way for you but not for they
Who will be haunted until their dying day
They won’t forget that frightful scene
And will forever lament on what might have been

For all who knew you a deeper saddening
Unaware of your gradually maddening
Until you reached the point of no return
Only now too late for them to learn

That you needed help but could not reach
Out to them through common speech
Instead you chose to shut them out
And fill your mind with negativity and doubt

The suffering may end for you but will be spread around
To those who meant the most to you who’s loss will be profound
There are people who love you who want you here for good
Think of them and reconsider, don’t you think you should?
