there comes a point
when heart ache
becomes your friend
it starts as a hole
punched through your chest
the black hole of pain
makes it hard to breath
when your reminded of the source
it throbs right to the edges
it messes with your head
it brings flash backs of hurt
and it will never truly go away
only fades
until you are reminded.
unless,
you last to the point
when heart ache becomes your friend.
get used to it being there
would feel odd without it
incomplete it is a part of you
would still feel the ghost of it
and that, is the point, heart ache, becomes your friend.
