A Blossom Brave

Into a season long forsaken

Ventured forth a tender bloom

Home uncommon; brittle branch

Alone amongst the earthen hues

It stretched its petals with timid time;

Proposed aloft a sensuous brew

Born unto a bleak midwinter;

How blossom, brave, bid care “adieu”

Author's Notes/Comments:

I saw a flower blooming in the cold one day, all alone
