“Lottery ticket”
--An ironic story--
It was a sunny day in July, a fresh breeze was blowing, the birds were singing and insects were flying around, doing what insects do, when suddenly, in the middle of the park a man says:
It can´t be possible, I just don’t believe it! This is true?
-“I´m the richest person in the whole world!” (the man says)
Everyone in the park just freezing, and look at him with a very surprising and question face.
Yeah, he won the lottery, $25 billion dollars, with just a ticket that cost around $10 dollars, this is very surprising, because no one ever in the whole world won that amount of money with just $10 dollars, but the question is, what will a guy like him do with that amazing and crazy amount of money? Well, he had a lot of options:
It can travel the whole world, living the luxury life, donate to charity, ignoring and just continuing living like a normal person or just sitting there to think about a particular and original idea of how spend that money, so yes, he decided to do the last thing, just waiting to have a thought. So he just start to walk back home when in an instant a teenager that was in the park, hit him so hard that the man get unconscious, the teenager get very surprise and nervous but that doesn´t matter until the police saw him, so he just take the lottery ticket and start to run like a coyote. He run and run, but the police was behind he, so he decided to leave the ticket and escape, at the moment the police saw he left the ticket , they just stop and pick up the lottery ticket, they can´t believe it! It was crazy, $25 billion dollars in that small piece of paper, they think in all the possibilities and options they would do with the money, it was like a fantasy, something they didn´t think can be possible, and even thought they were policeman, they shut up and didn´t tell to anyone they found the lottery ticket.
When they were on their way to the bank, to ask for the money, they saw a woman in the street, asking for help because she have had an accident with the car, something in relation to the car´s engine, so the police man decided to stop and give it a ride, at the moment she gets into the police´s car, she received a call of the hospital, telling her that his husband was in danger, because some thief attack him in the middle of a park, so she ask to the police to leave her at the hospital and if they can help her with the thief problem, and the police didn´t think about it any minute , just tell her that yes, it was their job and responsibility and that everything would be okay.
At the moment all arrive to the hospital; they get in shock!
First the woman saw his husband was dying, and just in the other side of the room, the police notice the teenager, the little park thief that was asking about her fiancée because she was pregnant and she already was having the baby. Everyone just freezing, it was just too ironic that everyone finished in the same hospital at that specific time, it can be a coincidence or destiny, they didn’t know, but they realized that all happened for a reason, so the thief go to the police and take the responsibility for his actions, the police gets very surprised and make the same, take the responsibility of what they do and give the money to the wife, but at that moment, the man, the lucky one of the lottery ticket died.
