A Man Stands Alone On This Earth

You are alone:
In your consideration
And the paths that you choose to follow,
Blame none for your failure,
And honor none for your achievement,
For in your success,
And your disappointment, as well,
Stand as a man,
Decisive,
Strong,
Honorable,
And noble,
And in your failure
Stand the same.

Let the warm winds of life
Cradle you at rest,
But as the sun sets,
And the warrior is called upon
To defend all that is fine,
Be that crusader
Known to all;
Fearless among his fellow men,
Righteous in every quarter;
A dreamer whose imaginings
Fill the sails of the Lord’s own fleet,
Where at last he will stand among his brothers,
All decisive,
All strong and honorable,
Bearing the nobility of the ages,
Saving man from man,
All in the name of what is right and good.
