Washing

Have you ever stood in the rain to let it wash away the pain?

Have you ever stood in the sun till it washed away the fun?

Have you ever stood in the dark till it washed away your heart?

Have you ever stood in the light till it washed away your sight?

Stand in the rain to let the pain flow away each drop taking a tear from the cheek to the ground. Crying bitter in torents of clouds, blending into a deluge of forgotten marks. The smile out of place as you can't see the streeks on my face.

Sun so bright it turns the skin red removing the fun from life and style. Heat burning away impurity as she glares down from the sky above. Burning away the fun of lies and of the cold insensitivity.

Darkness so comforting and so welcomed it takes away the heart, drawing one into itself and making one as itself. Dark inside and out till the heart no longer matters and all becomes dark. Will you enjoy the darkness as I did?

Light so bright and pure it hurts to look at and draws away the sight, bringing the world to blindness in it's uncaring grip. Light so harsh and so powerful that there is no where to hide and nothing to hide, noone can live in a world like that.

The sun and the rain the dark and the light come together in worlds of grey where we live. One can not live on light alone, one can not live in constant rain, there must be sun to your darkness and rain in your light for only after such storms can true beauty apear in the sky.
