I am the savior of myself,

I stopped reaching for somebody else.

No more living inside your hell,

I’m learning how to live for myself.

I won’t let people bring me down,

While I stand on hollow ground.

You won’t keep disrespecting me,

As of now, I’m finally free.

I broke the ties that used to bind,

My will, my strength, my precious time.

Won’t take the bullshit that I once did,

I’ll stand tall, I choose now how I live.

I broke the chain tied to your anchor,

Before it actually pulled me down.

I fought my way back to the surface,

I refuse to fucking drown.

I am the savior of myself,

I found my strength when no one helped.
