When the Dream Became You

When the Dream Became You

We met beneath a sky of glass,

Where moonlight dripped through fields of brass.

Not in waking life, but deep in sleep—

Where shadows bloom and secrets keep.

You wore the stars upon your skin,

A whisper wrapped in porcelain.

No other soul could draw me near

You are my echo, crystal-clear.

Through midnight storms and velvet haze,

You find me in the dreamtime maze.

You hold me close, your breath a flame,

And call me by my truest name.

But dawn arrives on silent wings,

And breaks the spell that nighttime brings.

I wake alone, the dream undone

Yet still I chase where you have gone.
