Out of breath and grimy from running and falling in my attempt to report what I had just seen, what had been done to my father, I saw a young police man out of the side mirror of a police cruiser, who was admiring his appearance, although I knew he would not win the heart of anyone I knew with that face.  For a moment I thought there was a women in the passenger seat, but then I realized he was rehearsing "pick up lines".  Once I was in his line of vision, which wasn't much farther than the end of his nose; he let out an exclamation of fright and disgust.  "Get away from my car you filthy begger!" was his reaction to my most unappealing dress.  If only he knew who my father is, was, but I knew if I opened my mouth he would not hear anything I said.  I will have no luck here, I'll have to find someone less arrogant and judgmental.  I know of a place where an older officer stands watch.  Maybe he will know what is good for him.
