What Lies Ahead

Tis only three days till the final ball,

The final ball of  my high school career.

The excitment is unbareable,

As the same as my fear of what lies ahead.

Will I be successful?

Will I graduate from University?

What lies ahead in the futurre,

Made me too nervous to sleep.

Counting down the days till we all leave,

From this small town that we've all learned to love.

Like a tiny fish swimming up stream,

Finally, grown strong enough to reach our destination.

But as we were big fishes in the small pond,

We were content with what we've aleady possess.

Now that its time for us to reach for the bigger pond,

And once again, we've became, the smaller fish.

So there's only less than a month left,

To stay in my comfort zone of happiness.

I'd like to say goodbye,

To all that had helped  me through these past five years.

And thank you all, for being there.
