Rain. Rain pouring in a waterfall of enormous droplets. Rain seeping in the laughing mouths of the elderly boots on the shivering tramp. Rain filling the empty holes on the porous cement road, whooshing in waves on to passing pedestrians, sneaking through roof cracks, playing a pitch less tune on the ribcages of the umbrellas
