I am mentally and physically exhausted

Suppressing all my deepest forces

Because who would know that one kiss

Will ignite an array of infinite bliss



When you cry, I’ll wipe away your tears

When you are down, I’ll fight away your demons

When you are cold, I’ll tuck you in the spirit

When you are afraid, I’ll hold your hand nearly



Because your presence still lingers in my path

I tried to tell myself, that you’re gone

But these recurrent thoughts won’t leave me alone

This silent treatment is the hardest road to walk



Your essence haunts me through the halls

Your voice leaves me messages on hold

My brain won’t sleep thinking of you

My heart attack is caused by your love



I can’t promise you the world but…



A shoulder to cry on

A caressing hand to wipe your tears off

An ear to listen to your deepest thoughts

and if you so choose, all the love that I own
