Blinded by the Sunlight

Blinded by the sunlight

My pupils astonished in it’s presence

My brain felt like it was in heaven

Walking on the clouds of return

After seven days of isolation

Even the food I despised was honey to my taste buds

Afraid of open space eager to return to my cage

I flew only to encounter a far away land

That was closer than my own fate

My destiny is greater than the pyramids

Aged bricks that everyday are amazed

Living through the corrosion of  time

My heart battles to maintain its pace

I returned to my nest asking for a place to rest

Incandescent sun, my eyes irritated decided to shut

Below clouds I flew

Searching for a place where I could fit in without any linear looks

Finally, the isolated wind carried me with its wings to the corner of the earth
