Letter to my people in the streets

Folder:
Life Poems

I never slept on the streets but my body is full of cuts

I never snorted coke but my lungs are bleeding blood

I’ve never been shot but my body is full of holes

I never been hungry but my stomach feel heartburn

I never ran from the police but I feel your fear

I never been poor but my clothes is smear

I never been in prison buy my mind is unclear

I never lost my homeboys but I experienced tears

I never robbed anybody but my pockets are full change

I never been high but my brain intoxicated is

I never killed anybody but I feel the adrenaline

This is a letter to my people in the streets!

Author's Notes/Comments:

This poem is self explanatory. I wrote after I understood that humans errors are not always their fault but environment and other things play a role. Like poverty, society, etc.
