~My Deliver is Coming!~

           Am I facing my own Red Sea,
     With this life-changing force before me?
       Is it time to just step out, O God,
        & trust You to part this sea?
          Pharoh's army's in pursuit,
         The promised land is waiting,
          I long to be like Miriam,
         With a victory song to sing!

       Father, You have brought me here,
        There's no turning back now!
          Egypt can never satisfy
           My true needs, anyhow!
      All that is still so in the way
        I know You're able to remove,
       & my surrender & trust in You,
         it's finally time to prove!

         So here I go, entering in,
           No turning back to see
       How close Pharoh is closing in,
        Father, please part this sea!
       Take me through on dry ground,
       I'm ready now for You to bring
    us safely through to the other side,
        A new song to finally sing!

Author's Notes/Comments: 

Suddenly, I realized the only thing keeping me wandering in circles,
& what's kept me from entering in, was my lack of surrender...& then, it was the easiest thing in the world to just begin, & as I did, He revealed to me many things still needing to be surrendered, that I was still unaware of~ that, in His love, He had allowed me to not see until I was ready to be set free ~
....& one by one, He's uncovering the things attaching me to this world, & lovingly revealing to me the simplicity involved with just laying them at the foot of the cross ~
Righteousness, peace, & JOY are our heritage ~
I settled, so long, for only glimpses ~ entering in implies the fullness of  ABIDING!!!
