All That Could've Been

Folder:
Poetry

It's raining outside, dripping like tears from the black sky.

I remember all that were... and all that we could've been.

All that I am is spiritless... life sucked straight out of the veins.

All that you are is departed... what spirit drained before my eyes.

I'm crying now, tears dripping down pale cheeks.

All that is happening... is killing me softly inside.

All that is going to happen... is going to kill you.

All that we are... is falling apart.

[All that you are... is everything to me,

And I do this only for you.

And all that will become of us... I'll never leave your side.]

That all that could have been... was never meant to be.

All that I was is now dead forever... and I'm still here because of you.

All that you were is buried with me... all because you made a

sacrifice.

Everything that was... is all that we could've done.
