She never smiles anymore somehow I wonder why

A pretty face like hers can have tears in her eye

She's too many problems that she can't face alone

Her heart can't take the pain cause it ain't made of stone



Her tears fall down like rain drops and to me it don't seem right

Such a pretty face she has but it's hidden in the light

I wish she'd just smile for once that would make my day complete

Because she does not realize her life is her own to lead



It saddens me to think her hurt is all in vain

All she ever wanted was release from the pain

But all she ever found were lovers' fights at best

It tears her up inside but they can't let it rest
